MAFO: We are soliciting stories from Farmworker Women or from a daughter of a Farmworker Woman speaking of her mother’s strength as a Farmworker Woman. MAFO will select some of these stories and publish them in the 2016 MAFO National Farmworker Conference & Convention Program. Selected stories will also be published on the MAFO web site. Instructions: Please email to Heladio.Zavala@umos.org a one-page, single spaced, 12-font story about yourself or another farmworker woman. Please keep in mind that MAFO wants to honor the “Farmworker Woman” so demonstrate her resolve and strength in your story. Describe the family. Did she have children while she was a farmworker? Describe the locations to which she and the family traveled and the work the family performed. How did she and her family have fun and laughter? How did she juggle all of the demands and keep the family together as a family?

Due Date: March 1, 2016
